ARTISTS & PERFORMERS
Kalamazoo Scottish Country Dancers - Since 1990 The Kalamazoo Scottish Country Dancers have taught and promoted the art of Scottish Country Dance in a weekly group setting in Kalamazoo and group demonstrations throughout the Southwest Michigan area. They perform many styles including jigs, reels, and Strathspeys, and are always looking for new members of all backgrounds and ages to join! Kalamazoo Scottish Country Dancers on FB
Cammie & Robert Adams - Both board members of the Grand Rapids Scottish Society and members of the Kalamazoo Scottish Country Dancers, Cammie & Robert are also trained traditional folk musicians, having played both Scottish, Irish, and Old-time music together for over 2 decades. Cammie has a BA in Music from the University of Kentucky, where she studied opera performance and Ethnomusicology. Her specialty is in the ballads, hymns, and folk music of the British Isles and Ireland and these immigrants' influence on the Southern Appalachian Mountains. She has written and presented multiple educational programs for Opera Grand Rapids, local schools, and events through the Grand Rapids Scottish Society. Robert is a Professor of Computer Science at GVSU and enjoys playing fiddle and Irish tenor banjo. Cammie sings and plays mandola, bodhran, and piano. Grand Rapids Scottish Society Website
Kalamazoo Valley Scottish Society - The Kalamazoo Valley Scottish Society will have its 'Find your Clan' table with resources from the Council of Scottish Clans & Associations. The KVSS is a non-profit society dedicated to fostering the Scots pioneer spirit through education and kinship and has been actively living its mission since 1963. Caledonia Kilty Pipe Band - The Caledonia Kilty Pipe Band was established in 1954 in Mishawaka, Indiana, and works to promote the culture and heritage of Highland bagpipe music in the South Bend and NW Indiana areas. In this tour, groups will be guided by one of our brewing staff and learn more about the brewing process and our methods, as well as the sustainable and organic practices we employ both as brewers and as a company. Herbal Meadows Botanicals teaches you how to create three small handcrafted salves. We will discuss a few native plants that you can forage to add to your salve-making practices at home, learn to weigh oils, butter & local beeswax as well as a brief discussion on oil infusions. Make & take three 1 oz. salves accompanied with a lifetime of knowledge while spending the evening with like-minded people. We use top-shelf olive oil for the base, and beeswax from our hives, and provide over 30 Now Essential Oils to choose from. You will be provided with everything you need and leave with:
We are offering two workshops at the same time; 6:30-8 pm! If you want to make both items; we can make it happen! You will need to purchase tickets for both if you want to make both items. Tickets are available for salve & beeswax candle making.
The cost is $28.00 per person and includes all materials and instruction. Advance payment is required to reserve your space. The payment deadline is April 17th. Limited seating is available.

Come out to Thursday Night Bocce at River Saint Joe! Hosted by Harbor Country Bocce Club
Starting April 18th, join us for open bocce play at the courts at River Saint Joe from 7-9pm all season long. While you're here, enjoy RSJ's delicious organic beer, cider, and food offerings, or just enjoy the pleasure of being outside in the beer garden!

WHAT is Thursday Night Bocce?
A consistent night of the week and an opportunity to bring people of all skill levels together to learn, improve, and PLAY MORE BOCCE!
HOW does Thursday Night Bocce work?
The level of participation each week will determine the flow. Open play, practice, and games: the more players, the more fun.
We hope to develop into leagues and pop-up tournaments as the year progresses!
WHY you should come to Thursday Night Bocce?
Bocce is enjoyable, relieves stress, helps improve coordination, sharpens your mind, is a light cardio workout, and improves flexibility. Anyone can play!

Led by Ulrike of River of Life Yoga, join us on Friday mornings at River Saint Joe for a peaceful way to start your weekend.
This 75-minute Hatha yoga class is focused on warming the body with movement while the Sun warms the Earth. Taking place in the beer garden of River Saint Joe at Flatwater Farms, experience the beauty of the farm and the low buzzing of the natural world around you while you tune into your breath and clear your mind.

Come join us in the greenhouse at River Saint Joe for some pickin' and grinnin' as we circle up to enjoy some tunes and good times at River St. Joe Brewery. 1st Sunday of every month from 1-3pm.
This jam is for all skill levels but is for acoustical instruments only (guitars, banjos, fiddles, mandolins, dobra, etc), and vocalists are also welcome!
Styles of called tunes range from old-time, fiddle tunes, folk, bluegrass, rock, country and any other brand of acoustical music. We look forward to seeing you!

On Tuesday evenings join RedBud Running Club for a weekly evening run starting and ending at River Saint Joe Brewery.
Groups leave at 6:30 p.m. from the River Saint Joe parking lot and return to the brewery for the optional hangout, beer, and food.
